🦴 Bones: Dried Floral Vertebrae Workshop
Taught by Annie LaVoie & Erin of Joli Jardin
Join artist and taxidermist Annie LaVoie of Mouth Oddities and flower farmer and designer Erin Leonard of Joli Jardin for an immersive workshop exploring the intersection of bone and bloom. In this hands-on class, you’ll create a wall-mounted piece using real vertebrae and dried florals—blending natural relics with organic beauty.
Together, Annie will guide you through the ethics, sourcing, and techniques behind their bone artistry and Erin will teach dried floral design techniques in a welcoming, creative space. No prior experience is needed—just an open mind and a sense of wonder.
💀 What to Expect:
-
Insight into ethical taxidermy and sustainable floral practices
-
Step-by-step guidance to craft your own vertebrae + botanical wall piece
-
A supportive space to learn, ask questions, and explore the curious and the beautiful
🖐️ All experience levels welcome.
