Neoregelia Fuego Ancho

Neoregelia Fuego Ancho. Beautiful red pink blushing foliage. Grows in an upright full pattern. Grows and ships bare root.

Neoregelia, part of the Bromeliad family, are epiphytic and do not require soil. If a pot is desired, keep root development dry by using orchid bark or dry medium. The “blooms” or inflorescences are produced low in the center cup.

These do wonderfully in terrariums and vivariums.

NEOREGELIA CARE:

LIGHT: Neoregelia prefer bright filtered light to develop their beautiful colors. With less light they will revert to their greener color.

WATERING: Water in the center cup of the plant and maintain water in the cup. Do not let the center cup completely dry out. Refresh water in the main cup roughly on a weekly basis.

TEMPERATURE: Neoregelia are tropical plants that prefer warm environments. Ideally 70-85 degrees. Avoid temperatures lower than 50 degrees.
